NRS provides free fertilizer and agriculture amendments to support their production farm in the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.

Edlen & Co. led the development of the PAE Living Building that hosts NRS’ flagship fertilizer manufacturing facility.

PAE was the MEP engineer for the PAE Living Building and worked on integration of building systems with the fertilizer manufacturing system.

ZGF was the Architect of the PAE Living Building that hosts NRS’ flagship fertilizer manufacturing facility.

Biohabitats was the engineer of record for the fertilizer manufacturing system and spearhead all design and permitting activities.

AEM is the developer of the nutrient recovery process and supplied much of the systems equipment. AEM was instrumental in the entire fertilizer manufacturing system.

Their Ash Street location (around the corner from the PAE Building) supplies spent oil to assist with maximizing nutrient recovery. This diversion further reduces waste.

DEQ is our regulatory partner and has also committed funds to optimize and expand nutrient recovery in the Oregon region.
